Happy Weekend !!!
I can't believe how fast this week has gone...........😌

We have been investigating wheels this week, as we begin our Topic on Transport !! The most fun (and noise ) !!! was when the children and staff did tyre prints not just from toy cars, but from real car and motorbike tyres. 😂😁👏📷

All our pots and troughs have been planted up ready for some lovely colour in the Summer 🌼🌸🪻🌷🌹

The children took part in many group activities, the current favourite was learning to play Duck, Duck Goose !!!! Becky was nearly hoarse by the end of the afternoon 😂😂😂😂

Another busy week at Playgroup, tinged with sadness, as we said Goodbye to lovely Jackie. She has been part of our wonderful team for 15 years, she leaves to start a new chapter in her life . She goes with all our love and heartfelt thanks. She will be greatly missed by us all 🥰 She had an emotional Thursday with cards, messages and gifts from children, parents, staff and the committee, followed by a lovely evening yesterday at the Air Hostess.

We finished our Topic on Traditional stories this week and released our butterflies........Lots of fun as always

Another busy week at Playgroup. We have been focusing on working together this week !! Working and playing with different friends, solving problems, building with purpose together and concentrating !!! We are very proud of them all, especially the younger children.

We have continued our topic on Traditional Stories, the children's recall of these stories is wonderful 🥰 We will continue next week with our final 3 stories, The Magic Porridge Pot, Jack and the Beanstalk and the Little Red Hen.

Thank you all for your support with our Sponsored Walk. So far we have raised £465 !!! (the majority gift aided as well) Can we have any further donations by the end of next week please?

What a dreary day !!!
A picture from yesterday to cheer you up....we have blue t**s nesting once again in our box. The children were mesmerised by the blue tit going in and out the box with food.

The children made Red Riding Hoods yesterday...aren't they great

We have also completed 4 rounds of our Sponsored Walk (mostly running !) this week. Well done all, especially those who decide to come with us every day !!!!! Thank you to Tollerton School for the use of their field, we are truly grateful.
Sponsor money is coming in quickly !! Total today is £225 !! with the majority Gift Aided . Absolutely fantastic 🥰
