Trip on the train to Attenborough Nature Reserve today for a fun-filled outdoor adventure 🌿🚆
The children were so excited for the journey and loved spotting things out of the window along the way! Once there, we explored the nature reserve, looked for birds and wildlife, enjoyed the fresh air, and talked about everything we could see and hear around us we used a camera and binoculars 🦆🍃 The children made a wonderful feast for for a king and queen it was a royal banquet from the mud kitchen!
Days out like these are wonderful for building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and supporting learning through real-life experiences and play. 😊 We are so lucky to experience all these wonderful places. Thank you to Dee-Dees childminding service for sharing this experience with us!

Paddling pool, splashing fun, and sunshine smiles ☀️ I love seeing the children having so much fun in the water today, followed by a lovely picnic with our friends by the riverside 🧺🌿 These days really are the best! ❤️

Today we enjoyed a visit to The Power of Play and it was fantastic the children loved it!
We loved using loose parts and old household items to spark our imaginations,the children showed amazing creativity and teamwork throughout.
Loose parts play encourages problem-solving, communication, confidence, and imaginative thinking while showing how everyday objects can become exciting learning opportunities We even got to use a tape measure! ✨

Today at Sarah's Childminding Service
the children enjoyed a visit to the library where they explored a variety of books and we read stories together. Afterwards, we had great fun exploring the immersive under-the-sea room, discovering sea creatures, colours, sounds, and textures.

Little pigs let me come in! Can we build a house and you can be the big bad wolf and blow it down! So that's what we did! What fun we had the children were the pigs and built the house. Sarah was the big bad wolf but our story ended with the wolf and the pigs being best friends! With a play at the park after in the beautiful sunshine.

Today was a big achievement! 🌟
I climbed the big equipment with confidence and even mastered the big swing, learning how to swing by myself. Such fantastic determination, balance, and bravery shown today — this definitely deserves a BIG cheer! 👏😊 So proud of this growing independence and adventurous spirit. 💛

Busy week at Sarah’s Childminding! 🌟
We’ve had lots of fun enjoying the park, playgroup,crafts and learning to use scissors, gymnastics, Colwick Woods park and the library with a lovely story time session. Plenty of smiles, learning and adventures along the way! 😊📚🌳🤸
