Awn Surface Design Studio, one of our neighbours on Avenue A, is looking for someone who'd like to rent one of these huge tables with storage underneath as a studio space. This is a great opportunity to get a Sneinton Market space for an affordable monthly rate that includes heating, water, service charges, etc. And Hannah is a lovely person who would be nice to work alongside.
For more information, just follow the link to the Awn Studio page and message her, or message me and I'll give you her e-mail.
If you're interested, look into it right away. There's only one table available.

After battling the heat, train cancellations and trying to sleep in the sauna of a hotel room some may have said that it would have been wiser to miss this year’s Bread and Jam festival! Here is why they would be wrong…
💛 when you’re a solo founder it’s easy to get bogged down with all the worries that comes along with everything trying to scale-up a business from scratch. It only takes sitting in a few talks to realise that everyone feels/felt the same way and it can work! That little boost is great for the self-esteem 💪🏻
🌟 The diversity I have seen at this festival is amazing 🙌🏻 and something I rarely see by going to equivalent science conferences. It is great to hear all the different stories behind the founders and how it inspires everything they make.
📒 There are things you know, there are things you know you don’t know and then there are things that you don’t know you don’t know. The latter is the thing that can give you a kick up the arse along the entrepreneur journey 🤣 Coming to Bread and Jam gives you the opportunity to the things you had no idea you needed to know about. A great example is bar codes! Follow to learn more
🍯 Don’t underestimate the power of networking. I’ve been so busy with my studies that I haven’t had the chance to apply for pitching or testing slots. Who knows if this year would have been my year? 🤷♀️ but instead I have relished the laid back approach of just going around and talking to people. It’s been great and I have loved hearing the feedback. One conversation ended in a sale! Just showing up and getting your face known lays the foundation for future years
Here’s to looking forward to seeing you next year

Happy Earth Day Everyone 🌍🌱🪨 As a geologist I have many pictures from amazing outcrops across the world I could’ve chosen from. Instead I thought I’d pick some of my favourite pictures taken over the last year. The things that make me smile whilst living on this beautiful green planet that we all call home 😊
🥚I thought I’d relive some of my youth by making Easter egg nests this year

Anyone else get caught in the April showers? I risked it for a biscuit yesterday and didn’t take my umbrella out, big mistake 🤦🏻♀️😂 luckily I was on the train when I took this picture. It’s quite spectacular when you’re not the one stuck under it ☔️

After two years of waiting I have finally made it to the 😀 I published the Cookbook of Curiosity at the end of 2019 with the aim of attending the book fair in April 2020. We all know why that didn’t happen 😂🤦🏻♀️ It has been a long two years but I am so happy to be here now!
I am on the lookout for any literary agents or publishers that want to help me grow my idea of making science accessible to more people 📣 if you’re interested or know anyone to recommend then please let me know 🙂 I can’t wait to speak to you!
