Last week our children in preschool learnt about healthy eating and it’s benefits.
There was a range of activities planned to keep them engaged and teach them about why it’s important to eat healthy.

They had lots of fun and are now able to identify which foods and healthy and which are not.

It's important to educate children at an early age about eating healthy foods. Eating healthy helps a child maintain their concentration and energy levels. This helps a child to effectively learn throughout the school day. By cutting down sugary foods and drinks, children learn better from healthy eating.

At Al-Hudaa Nursery we knows that it’s important for children to play outdoors as well as indoors. Its important for children to get fresh air and playing outdoors allows children to develop self-confidence, independence and self-esteem. They also become aware of limits, boundaries and challenge in their play.
When children are used to playing outdoors, they are more likely to:
* try new activities
* engage with others
* solve problems
* explore the natural environment
* make friends
* show resilience
We have a special area outside to help develop there emotional, social and physical development. There are a range of activities set up so children can have lots of fun whilst learning new skills and making friends.
