As the manager of our lovely setting i would like to thank all of our parents for all your support this year, to our families that are leaving us i wish your children all the best in their next steps of their school journey, im sorry I won't be there to give you all the cuddles and goodbyes that you deserve as some of you may know I'm not at nursery due to breaking the top of my arm in 2 places.
To all my staff I would like to thankyou all from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work and stepping up to help in times of need, im looking forward to returning in September and wish you all happy holidays xx

Notts Year of Communication!!!

Everyone is talking about Speech, Language and Communication.

Throughout the rest of 2026 a communication strategy, developed by the Speech and Language Team, will be sent out each month with key messages, tips and resources for parents and practitioners to promote quality interactions.

Please take the time to have a look at the following link. It has fun ideas, recommendations of different books, and videos to help encourage speech, language and communication with your children.

Our best place is face‑to‑face! Spending time at your child’s level helps them feel connected and ready to communicate. Try crouching, sitting or lying so you’re in the best place for interacting.
