Mrs Faulks and Mrs Topley look forward to seeing as many kids as we can there. We will be on marshal points 6 and 7 👐 with a few members of staff among the runners too.

Blue skies and budding trees, our lovely group were super busy today at , practising mindfulness, used the talking stick and an energetic game of chaos. The fire starters set to work, with their flint and steel, pizza bases were prepared and toppings added. Mrs Wheatley planted bulbs with the children and made a card using sticks. Penguins have checked in on their bread today to see how different climates can affect the process of mould growing. 2 weeks in and some are looking pretty yukky. 3 more weeks to go.

Sharks are taking on the role of Viking leaders today as we explore economic trading! The big question: Trade or Raid!? We have some very ruthless warriors!

Today was Planting Day for our Grow Your Own Potatoes, this is a project we have taken part in now for many years. We had a great time planting our 'Cristina' and 'Casablanca' . We also started our 'Beneath The Soil' experiment where the children can see how a potato grows in a bottle.

A wonderful interactive morning for Year 3 at Ilkeston Methodist church, learning the true meaning of the Easter story. Huge thank you to all the volunteers who really engaged the children, and to the parent volunteers who accompanied us there. Miss Oldnall 😊

Today in Sharks, we looked at the Sikhi festival ‘Holi’ - a festival which focuses on discipline, community and noise!
We put our music on, got our paints out and through about what we would stand up for, creating our own art pieces!
