Please be aware there may be increased traffic in the area if coming to lessons this evening.

The A52 is currently closed between the Gamston Lock roundabout and the A46 Saxondale roundabout, following a serious collision.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 5am today (15 May).

Carriageways remain closed in both directions, and are likely to stay shut for several hours, while officers respond to the incident.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.

Update: Road is now open, albeit a little muddy.

Seven Trent have arrived today to start digging up the road. It is scheduled to be closed from:

8am Tuesday 13th January - 4pm Thursday 15th January.

The road closures on Lodge Lane are now in place.

- No access is available down Lodge Lane from the A46 (Kneeton junction) – the road is closed just above our property.
- Access is via the bottom of Lodge Lane. A ‘Road Closed’ sign has also been placed at the bottom of Lodge Lane, at the junction with Spring Lane, but there is still access to our property.

Do take extra care at the bottom of the lane, as it is single track and all traffic is currently being directed through that junction.
