We have Been learning about our Queen over the last couple of weeks, "she lives in a castle, she has a cleaner, and she wears a pretty blue dress"
The children have created portraits, bunting, pom poms, tassels, crowns, cakes, and they decided to make a large cookie which was shared out.
Today the children used the musical instruments to make a tune for the Queen, as well as making there own shakers.
If you have any jubilee celebrations planned next week we hope you have a wonderful time.
Thank you for your support once again this term, and we look forward to seeing you all again from the 12th June.

Good afternoon everyone, we enjoyed two visits to Forest school last week in the wet and cold weather, but the majority of children enjoyed the hot chocolate which was a special treat and also a hand warmer!
The rain didn't put us off, we went sledging in the mud and made our own slides too. We collected twigs and sticks to create a house for the faires, and rebuilt some of the road we had made upon our last visit whilst working together to move the logs.
Hopefully your children have shared their memories of Forest school with you so far, and I am sure there will be more memories to follow.

Today we looked at boxes and construction materials and discussed how to join the materials together.
The children used their imagination to create their visions and watched them become realistic which was wonderful to watch.
The children created Suckers ( vacuum cleaners), Beds for there dolls, angels, spider catchers, and robots, just to name a few.
Hope you enjoy them just as much as we did.

Fun was had today with some Chinese New year activities. We cooked some rice noodles and the children practiced using chopsticks, tweezers, and scoop scissors to pick it up.
We also created some hats using paint stamps and drawing with our fingers too.
