Today, we’re celebrating International Women in Engineering Day - a day to recognise and celebrate the women pushing boundaries in engineering and paving the way for others.

We’re proud to support the women studying with us as they build their skills, develop their careers, and make their mark in motorsport. 💪

We want to highlight the recent achievement of our very own Lucy Laycock, who has steadily built her career during her time with us and recently played her part in Inter Europol Competition’s LMP2-winning team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 👏

A huge congratulations to Lucy, and to all the women across the NMA community who continue to inspire progress in engineering and motorsport ❤️

What an incredible Saturday at the STEM On Track National Finals! 🛠️

STEM On Track is a national challenge for KS3 and KS4 students, giving pupils the chance to build their own racing karts, learn the STEM theory behind them, and then put their hard work to the test against schools from across the country. 💪

We had a fantastic time meeting so many passionate and talented young people - many of which are the future of motorsport engineering ❤️

We also brought along ‘Shakey’, the Toyota MR2, along for the day. Keep an eye out next week to find out more about the car, and why it means so much to NMA Tutor Ed

The 24 Hours of Le Mans proved once again why it's one of the greatest spectacles in motorsport. So many stories, so much drama, and plenty to unpack. (We're gutted for Doriane Pin, but so happy one of our students was part of the LMP2 winning team!) 💖

It's everybodies favourite time of year... the 24 Hours of Le Mans! 🏁

If you watched the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans, you might just recognise the Lotus Evora GTE #65. Today, this iconic race car calls Team NMA home.

Did you know... the car finished an impressive 22nd overall and 7th in class, driven by Jonathan Hirschi, Johnny Mowlem and James Rossiter across the gruelling 24-hour race.

Today, it remains part of Team NMA and can be viewed in the showroom of our close friends at Central GB, Nottingham. 🤝
