🥋 EXCITING NEWS FOR OUR LITTLE DANS! 🥋
We are delighted to introduce an exciting new structure for our Little Dans classes, designed especially for children aged 3–7 years old!
Every three months, our Little Dans will take part in a positive and enjoyable belt assessment. Rather than every child being expected to meet exactly the same standard, belts will be awarded according to the skills each student demonstrates. Every child will receive a new belt that reflects their individual ability and progress.
We understand that children develop physically, mentally and emotionally at different rates—especially at such a young age. Our new system allows every Little Dan to:
⭐ Learn at a pace that is right for them
⭐ Develop confidence, coordination and discipline
⭐ Enjoy even more fun and variety in every class
⭐ Be recognised for their individual achievements
⭐ Progress without unnecessary pressure or heavy expectations
While children are in Nursery and Infants at school, they will continue learning Taekwondo through the same familiar, age-appropriate teaching style. This provides consistency during these important early years while preparing them gradually for the next stage of their Taekwondo journey.
The new structure protects our youngest students from the heavier demands and expectations of traditional Taekwondo grading, without limiting what they can achieve. With continued training and commitment, they could still reach the incredible milestone of a black belt by approximately 11 years old! 🖤🥋
