May have been very wet but we had a great time thank you. We learnt lots of new skills.
The children spoke about it over dinner and a firm favourite is the hammers and then the hammock and the pe***ng leaves

Just a quick flash back over the week

Last week we continued to look at caterpillars and butterflies, we did paint stamp caterpillars, folding and printing with paint to create butterflies, and used glue to make caterpillars on a leaf. We spoke about all the beautiful colours in butterflies and did some colour mixing in the garden. And we used our fine motor skill to create caterpillars and repeating patterns with pom-poms and pincers.

What a fantastic morning we have had, a lovely walk down the river picking buttercups to see if we like butter, blowing and counting dandelion clocks. Then on to the memorial gardens where we collected flowers and treasure to make sun catchers. Great use of language as we spoke about colours and picked flowers for each other, we used our maths knowledge as we counted and found flowers to fit in the spaces we had left. We then had our snack and drink on the grass. Followed by time to run around & explore, we played together exploring the bushes pretending it was a police station & chasing the bad guy. Then when one fell over it turned into a hospital as we helped them up and lead them in.

After school last night the children wanted the dens out. They even made them all cosy with flowers, bean bags duvets & cushions
