Sherwood Young Artists offers weekly art and craft classes for children aged 7 - 18, in Sherwood, Nottingham. The sessions are taught by me Natasha East.
Sherwood Young Artists (formally Sherwood Kid's Art Group) was first set up in 2012 with a handful of children aged 7 - 12, who had a real passion for art. I am a trained Theatre and Costume Designer and an experienced secondary school art teacher (20 years and still loving it). My daughter has a real passion for art and I tried to find a local club or class for her to join. When I didn't find any

What an absolute legend! I will always admire his ability to continue to grow and evolve as an artist. To never remain stagnant, but to have the courage to explore new possibilities and to challenge his artistic insecurities. The type of artist I dream to be.
I do feel sad at today’s news, but I also feel fortunate to have lived in his lifetime.

Please join our Gold Arts Award students this Sunday at the for some free family crafts and creative fun. 11-3pm, 14th June 2026
The activities will be held in the poly tunnel greenhouses and the wonderful community garden, as you enter the plant shop on the left hand side. Don’t forget to visit our art exhibition in the Tropical House whilst you’re there, and maybe a drink and delicious cake from

We had over 40 fantastic entries, but of course there can only be one winner. Huge congratulations to Olivia for her wonderful design. Painting of the mural will take place next weekend as part of , and all the entries will also be on display next weekend at the Woodthorpe Park plant Shop. officially starts today 😀 As well as our exhibition in the Tropical House, we are delighted to be showcasing some of our amazing sunflower pictures in the Nottinghamshire Hospice Charity Shop on Mansfield Road. This wasn’t planned, but it has worked out perfectly, as the has just launched theirs Sunflower in memory appeal. So please stop by and support where you can. Our display will be on all week.

Our annual exhibition starts this Saturday, at the Tropical House. All the Sherwood Young Artists have been very busy over the past few weeks, and we are delighted to share all their wonderful creations with you. There will be a free exhibition activity worksheets available for our visitors.
A week of walking, enjoying the most spectacular views. Padstow to Portreath, along the beautiful Cornish Coastline.
