🏆 A HUGE SHOUTOUT TO OUR ASSISTANT HEAD OF YEAR 10! Miss Ledgister🏆

We are absolutely delighted to celebrate the incredible achievement of our Assistant Head of Year 10, who has recently won the NWFL National Championship with the Birmingham Lions Women’s American Football team! 🏈

In an incredibly tense final against their biggest rivals, the London Warriors, Birmingham Lions secured a 8–7 victory, becoming National Champions for the 8th time! 🎉

This fantastic achievement is a testament to the hard work, commitment, teamwork and dedication of everyone involved. To be part of the team that is currently the top women’s American football team in the country is an amazing accomplishment and one we are incredibly proud to celebrate.

What an achievement and an amazing example of dedication and determination! 👏

Hello Farnborough Families 💛

What a fantastic start to the new school year!

This week, we began with two staff INSET days, giving our brilliant staff the opportunity to prepare, reflect and develop their knowledge and skills so that we can give our students the very best possible start to the year.

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students to Farnborough. We cannot thank them enough for the fantastic start they have made! They have been polite, enthusiastic and ambitious in their attitude to learning, and it has been wonderful to see them settling into secondary school life so confidently. We are incredibly proud of them already!

Today, we welcomed our Year 7 and Year 11 students back into school. Our Year 11s are ready to take on their final year with determination and ambition, and we cannot wait to support them every step of the way as they work towards achieving their goals.

And now… bring on the new school year! 🎉

We cannot wait to welcome all of our students back on Monday and see the whole Farnborough community together again.

A huge thank you to all of our Farnborough families for making sure our Year 7s arrived beaming with pride in their uniforms this morning. 💛

They looked absolutely immaculate, a real credit to you and the care and support you’ve given them as they start this exciting new chapter. 👏

And what a first day! We have been so impressed by their wonderful manners, kindness and respect, but also by their ambitious attitude to learning. They have arrived ready to get stuck in, challenge themselves and make the very most of every opportunity. 🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of them. What a fantastic start to their Farnborough journey!

What an incredible achievement! Travelling to Estonia to represent England U16s in an international ice hockey tournament and finishing 2nd! 🥈

We are incredibly proud that Tom is part of our school community and to see him representing England on the international stage. 💛🏒

Now, after such an amazing summer, we can’t wait to welcome Tom back to Year 11 for his final year at school! 📚🎓 From the ice rink to the classroom, there’s another big challenge ahead with GCSEs, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way.

What a fantastic day of learning, collaboration and connection at Farnborough Spencer Academy! Our staff came together for a day of professional development, sharing ideas, learning from one another and preparing for another exciting year ahead. From engaging sessions and inspiring discussions to plenty of teamwork (and a little help from our four-legged friend Juno🐶), it was a brilliant opportunity to reflect, recharge and get ready to give our students the very best. We’re incredibly proud of our amazing staff team and can’t wait to welcome our students back! 💛🖤
