During half term, we embarked on our exciting garden project! Our adventure included a visit to Bardills garden centre on the tram 🚊, where we explored seeds and plants, and even had the chance to observe fish. Feeding the turtles was a delightful highlight! We're really looking forward to getting our hands dirty with planting next term and tasting our very own home-grown fruits and vegetables.🌽 πŸ“πŸ₯’

Library Visits! πŸ“š

This past term, we have truly loved our trips to Beeston Library.

Our Toddler and Preschool children enjoy strolling through Beeston, taking in all the sights of our local community. They have had fun watching the crane and various vehicles around the centre of Beeston! 🚜🚦

During these visits, we focused on selecting books about toilet training, brushing teeth, and dentist visits. 🦷πŸͺ₯

We’re excited for our next outing to swap our books and discover new ones! πŸ“•

βœ¨πŸŽƒ What an amazing Halloween week we've had! βœ¨πŸŽƒ

We kicked off the fun by painting spooky ghosts, then got creative making our own pumpkins. We even played with some creepy crawlies and better yet, made our own! πŸ•·οΈπŸ•ΈοΈWe also painted our own salt dough creations. We wrapped up the week in the best way possible β€” dressing up in our fantastic costumes and showing off our Halloween spirit! πŸŽƒ

πŸŽ‰βœ¨ What a fantastic week of celebration and creativity the children have had! πŸŽ‰βœ¨ We spoke about Diwali this week and did some fun educational activities such as creating beautiful rangoli patterns with rice play, helping to develop our fine motor skills. We also had so much fun painting fireworks using toilet roll tubes, in which was great for practicing gross motor skills and adding a splash of colour to our festivities! πŸŽ†πŸ–ŒοΈ We also took a trip into Beeston to pick out some pumpkins for Halloween, We all can't wait to carve them next week!πŸŽƒπŸ‘»

πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈβœ¨The children absolutely love their time with Coach Nathan from MiniAthletics every Thursday. It's amazing to see how much they’re thriving as they develop their gross motor skills through fun and energetic themed activities.
