Message from Mr Caton
Good morning everyone,
A quick note to start the day, I shall write at greater length later in the day.
With the announcement of school closures, and the cancelling of exams, there are many questions to be answered.
Unfortunately we don’t have all of the answers, and honestly, we probably won’t for a little while yet. I know that at a central government and academic board level, there is significant work now being done to determine what will be put into place to support student assessment. For now, like all schools and colleges and students, we need to wait and be patient. More and more will become apparent in the next days and weeks.
As we do, let us continue our focus on our personal wellbeing, and the wellbeing of others in our community. The sixth form centre is a healthy and friendly place where you can all work and look after each other.
Classes will continue as normal where they can today and tomorrow. Be flexible, be responsive, be supportive, proactive and stay positive. Be the best person you can be.
A letter from the headteacher with updated information regarding coronavirus has been emailed out and is on the school website.
