Over 20 of our Nottingham Read Easy volunteers got together at in March for a catch up. It was a great turnout, with most of our coaches able to attend. We were delighted to meet Lynn Smart, our new coordinator. Lynn's arrival will enable us to take on even more new readers.
Yvonne, our Literacy Expert shared lots of new, exciting resources that are have available and we were all able to share our top tips for coaching.
Thank you to everybody who came along, and for those who couldn't make it, a full set of notes has been sent out.

Happy New Year to all our volunteers and readers.
2024 was a year of change for Read Easy Nottingham. As we celebrated our 5 year anniversary, we said goodbye to our founding pioneer and Team Leader Andrew Pickin. We are so grateful to Helen Chambers, who has agreed to take on the leadership of our team. Andrew and Louise Radford started our group just before lockdown and since then we have become Read Easy’s largest on-line teaching group, as well as teaching face to face. We have trained over 30 coaches and seen over 20 readers engage in our scheme.
Thank you to everybody who continues to support us, none of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers and donors.
