āŒ These aren’t up for debate — just truths I teach by.

When I created Little Learners, I knew I didn’t want it to feel like traditional tuition. I didn’t want worksheets for the sake of it… pressure to ā€œkeep upā€ā€¦ or children dreading learning.

Instead, I built it on values that honour the whole child — not just their academic success.

These aren’t just nice ideas. They’re the foundation of every lesson, activity, message, and voice note I send. šŸ’›

If you’re nodding along, you’re my kind of parent — and I’d love to support you and your child on this journey.

šŸ“© DM me ā€œBELIEFSā€ if you’d like to learn how my programme works.

āŒ You are not overstepping by asking about your child’s progress. You’re stepping up.

That quick email, that question you’ve been holding back, that feeling in your gut that something’s off… it’s worth speaking up.

You’re not being a ā€œdifficult parent.ā€ You’re being an involved one.

Open, respectful communication with teachers isn’t just helpful—it’s your right. And it can make a world of difference for your child. šŸ’¬āœØ

Here are a few tips to build that relationship in order to build the team you want around your child:

šŸ’¬ Open the door early. Send a quick hello at the beginning of the school year. A small intro can lead to better communication down the line.

šŸ“ Ask questions—big or small. You’re not being overbearing. You’re being involved. And that’s powerful.

šŸ¤ Build a team mindset. Think of the teacher as part of your village—you’re all here for your child.

šŸ” Stay curious & stay informed. Read the school emails, check in on platforms, and don’t be afraid to follow up.

šŸ’› Advocate, always. If something doesn’t feel right, speak up. Respectfully, calmly—but firmly. You’re your child’s biggest supporter.

Let this be your reminder: You belong in the conversation.

Your child’s education is a shared space—and your presence matters.

✨ Do you have a good relationship with your child’s teacher?

What things have worked for you when it comes to communication?

I’d love to hear what’s helped you feel connected. šŸ’¬šŸ‘‡

Wondering how to help your child catch up in maths? šŸ¤”

It doesn’t have to be overwhelming or stressful! Start with these simple, fun tips to build confidence and understanding:

1ļøāƒ£ Start with place value – Help them understand that 10 is a group of 10 ones, and 100 is 10 tens. Everyday objects like coins, toys or snacks are great for visualising this concept.

2ļøāƒ£ Move on to addition and subtraction – ensure your child is comfortable with basic calculations. Use number games, apps, or board games to keep things fun and engaging.

3ļøāƒ£ Use hands-on methods – Encourage them to use counters, draw out problems, or even incorporate songs and rhymes to make the learning process interactive and enjoyable!

šŸŽ‰Learning doesn’t have to be boring or frustrating! When kids are engaged and having fun, they’re building confidence without even realizing it. ✨

āš ļø Red Flag: If your child is relying heavily on written methods, it’s often a sign that their understanding isn’t quite there yet. They may be missing the deeper why behind the maths, which can affect their progress.

Ready to boost your child’s confidence and help them catch up? Let’s break down those barriers together!
