ā These arenāt up for debate ā just truths I teach by.
When I created Little Learners, I knew I didnāt want it to feel like traditional tuition. I didnāt want worksheets for the sake of it⦠pressure to ākeep upā⦠or children dreading learning.
Instead, I built it on values that honour the whole child ā not just their academic success.
These arenāt just nice ideas. Theyāre the foundation of every lesson, activity, message, and voice note I send. š
If youāre nodding along, youāre my kind of parent ā and Iād love to support you and your child on this journey.
š© DM me āBELIEFSā if youād like to learn how my programme works.

ā You are not overstepping by asking about your childās progress. Youāre stepping up.
That quick email, that question youāve been holding back, that feeling in your gut that somethingās off⦠itās worth speaking up.
Youāre not being a ādifficult parent.ā Youāre being an involved one.
Open, respectful communication with teachers isnāt just helpfulāitās your right. And it can make a world of difference for your child. š¬āØ
Here are a few tips to build that relationship in order to build the team you want around your child:
š¬ Open the door early. Send a quick hello at the beginning of the school year. A small intro can lead to better communication down the line.
š Ask questionsābig or small. Youāre not being overbearing. Youāre being involved. And thatās powerful.
š¤ Build a team mindset. Think of the teacher as part of your villageāyouāre all here for your child.
š Stay curious & stay informed. Read the school emails, check in on platforms, and donāt be afraid to follow up.
š Advocate, always. If something doesnāt feel right, speak up. Respectfully, calmlyābut firmly. Youāre your childās biggest supporter.
Let this be your reminder: You belong in the conversation.
Your childās education is a shared spaceāand your presence matters.
⨠Do you have a good relationship with your childās teacher?
What things have worked for you when it comes to communication?
Iād love to hear whatās helped you feel connected. š¬š
Wondering how to help your child catch up in maths? š¤
It doesnāt have to be overwhelming or stressful! Start with these simple, fun tips to build confidence and understanding:
1ļøā£ Start with place value ā Help them understand that 10 is a group of 10 ones, and 100 is 10 tens. Everyday objects like coins, toys or snacks are great for visualising this concept.
2ļøā£ Move on to addition and subtraction ā ensure your child is comfortable with basic calculations. Use number games, apps, or board games to keep things fun and engaging.
3ļøā£ Use hands-on methods ā Encourage them to use counters, draw out problems, or even incorporate songs and rhymes to make the learning process interactive and enjoyable!
šLearning doesnāt have to be boring or frustrating! When kids are engaged and having fun, theyāre building confidence without even realizing it. āØ
ā ļø Red Flag: If your child is relying heavily on written methods, itās often a sign that their understanding isnāt quite there yet. They may be missing the deeper why behind the maths, which can affect their progress.
Ready to boost your childās confidence and help them catch up? Letās break down those barriers together!
