Stephen Cox Mathematics Tutoring

Yesterday a student left a generous review of my in-person support for TMUA (Test of Mathematics for University Admission):
"I had tutoring sessions with Stephen through my gap year and college to prepare me for my TMUA admissions test exam. Stephen provided me great resources, tips and tricks and really went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with questions and topics - even creating his own questions and lending me books for topics I was struggling on. TMUA is now used as an entrance exam for Mathematics at Oxford and Cambridge as well as Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics courses at a bunch of our top universities.

Delighted to share that my A level and GCSE students all got what they wanted or needed (grades C to A* in A level and grades 4 and 5 in Foundation GCSE). These grades allow my students progress to the next exciting phases for their lives. I am so proud of all of them for working so hard. For some, maths was a passion and they seemed to love every minute of study. For others, maths was more of a necessary evil; if it's not your favourite subject then it takes real guts and determination to stick at it to the get the grade you need. If this tutoring malarkey doesn't work out, I have other career options now that I am now a fully(*) trained barista(**).
