And just like that our annual 2026 sports day has been and gone. Thank you to everyone who came along to support their children and join in with the games. Here's a few snap shots of the day

This term our Early years children have been learning all about life cycles.

🌻We looked at the life cycle of plants, growing our own sunflowers and cress, learning all about the things our flowers need to grow.🌻

🐛We then explored the life cycle of a caterpillar. We supported our learning by having our own nursery caterpillars. Today the children are very excited as our caterpillars have now formed their chrysalis.🐛

We are keeping a close eye on them and can't wait for them to become butterflies. 🦋

On Saturday our educators joined together to develop and refresh their knowledge regarding paediatric first aid.

As you may know, caring for children comes with great responsibility and it is our duty to ensure we have the knowledge and confidence to provide first aid effectively.🏥😀

Where better to complete our training then in the great outdoors whilst the sun was shining🌞

Today, many of our preschool children found out which primary school they’ll be starting this September - such a special milestone in their journey. 🎒

We are incredibly proud of every single one of them and can’t wait to continue supporting them as they prepare for this exciting next chapter. A big well done to all our soon‑to‑be school starters!

🥭🍍🫐fruit juice making in Early Years🫐🍍🥭

Our Early Years children all took part in a juice making activity today. They helped juice the limes, chop the melon and smash the blueberries. We all then enjoyed a cool drink in the sunshine together.
