What a truly inspirational day at Phoenix Infant School!

We were delighted to welcome Olympian bobsledder and sprinter Joel Fearon, who spent the day with our children. The children took part in a sponsored circuit challenge, showing fantastic enthusiasm, determination and energy throughout.

Joel also delivered an inspiring assembly, sharing his journey and encouraging everyone to **Be BRAVE** – a powerful message that we hope will stay with our children for a long time.

Our beautiful chicks ! Look how much they have grown!

“We started with 16 eggs on Monday, and today we have our first 4 chicks! 🐣

The children have been full of awe and wonder watching this amazing process unfold, excitedly checking on the eggs each day and learning about the life cycle firsthand. Over the next few days, the children will also have the opportunity to gently hold and observe the chicks, making this a truly memorable experience for them all.

This week, the Year 2 children have started swimming lessons on the school site ! 🏊‍♂️

Swimming is such an important and vital life skill, and the children have thoroughly enjoyed beginning their sessions while building confidence and developing their water safety skills. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and determination in the pool! 🌟

A huge thank you to Millie and Hayley, our fantastic swimming instructors, for making the lessons so engaging, supportive and fun for all of the children! 👏

A brilliant lunchtime today. The children are having so much fun!

Look who appeared yesterday… the Easter Bunny! 🐰✨

He joined in with our song, wore one of our crowns, and even delivered a Creme Egg for everyone! 🍫👑

Our amazing community will be coming together to build a sandpit for the children as part of OPAL Play.
