There’s something magical about a day out in the school holidays with other childminder friends and having the opportunity to see little ones and older ones interacting with each other. There is a unique special kind of magic that enriches both older children and younger children’s experiences. They don’t need a tv, a computer or a phone. They had a wood, a playground, a field and each other. The best kind of day.

We have had fun being pirates. We built pirate ships in the garden, enjoyed pirate stories, drawn treasure maps, hunted for treasure, sung pirate songs and used pirate telescopes. What a busy pirate week together.
