Our best place is face‑to‑face! Spending time at your child’s level helps them feel connected and ready to communicate. Try crouching, sitting or lying so you’re in the best place for interacting.

The children at TFTF Tots use TTS PVA washable glue as part of their creative work, developing hand strength, control and coordination while exploring their own ideas.

Open-ended materials allow children to work at their own pace, make independent choices, and feel genuine pride in what they create.

Sometimes it’s the simplest resources that support the most meaningful learning.

We love our Ready Mixed Paint 🎨✨

The children are always finding their own unique ways to explore it — mixing colours, experimenting with texture, and expressing their ideas so freely. It’s amazing how one simple resource can spark so much creativity and curiosity.

This term we have been focusing on our lovely project with embarking on a journey through adventure island on all of our daily outings!

We wanting to share this with our nursery families, so this evening we invited them into our own land of imagination!

The children’s favourite place on adventure island is “the pirate park” so we displayed what they have been finding whilst there, and recreated captain bubbles’ ship!! Together they also needed to find the secret codes pieces to get his ship sailing! Of course there was also a message centre, with everything needed to let captain bubbles know we have got his ship ready to go!!

We created problems such as the rapid river for families to work together to get across, a lot of our children are currently going through a transporting schema so we also set a challenge of “how can they get the balls across the rapid river?!”

And of course, it wouldn’t be imaginary play without Noodle and Titch, with their huge invention station we invited parents to read stories about them, create their own inventions and come up with secret codes to make them work!!!
