🔨🌿 Our Annual Maintenance Fortnight – What a Team! 🌿🔨
Whilst our children have been enjoying their summer break, behind the scenes our teams have been working incredibly hard to ensure our nurseries are looking their very best for the new term.
We place enormous value on providing beautiful, clean, safe and inspiring environments for our children and families. Whilst maintenance and improvements happen throughout the year, every summer we have a rather full-on maintenance fortnight when we tackle all those bigger jobs that simply can’t be carried out whilst the children are in!
This year has involved everything from complete garden resurfacing at Little Lambs, to what feels like miles of fence painting at Normanton (lots and lots of it! 😅), gutter, soffit and fascia cleaning and maintenance, garden improvements, equipment updates (and new purchases!).
We’ve filled two entire skips to the brim, made countless wheelbarrow journeys and spent two weeks lifting, clearing, painting, repairing, cleaning, landscaping and generally giving every corner of our settings some much-needed TLC!
A huge thank you and special mention must go to our very own incredible Site Managers, Steve, Mike and Jonnie, who have worked tirelessly and coordinated so much of the work, ably assisted by Michael and Nathaniel.
We’d also like to thank Reece and the team at , and Fernando from for their hard work and expertise.
It really does take a small army to keep our settings looking as lovely as they do!
We are incredibly proud of the environments we provide for our children and families, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to see the results of another very busy ‘shut down’ week!
