Providing an enriching early years outdoor environment boosts physical health, mental well-being, and cognitive development by offering, natural, sensory-rich spaces for exploration. Key benefits include improved motor skills, increased confidence, risk management, reduced stress, and enhanced creativity through contact with nature, all fundamental to early childhood development.

We love to incorporate yoga and mindfulness into our daily life at Nursery. It contributes to physical and emotional well-being and it enhances our physical development with strength, balance and coordination. Yoga improves emotional regulation and boosts concentration. We use breathing techniques to help support well being which can reduce anxiety and encourages the children, and team, to practice mindfulness. Yoga also provides a non-competitive, imaginative, and fun way to exercise our bodies. Thank you to who created Little Legs yoga training programme which our team are undertaking

Reading is universally celebrated as a transformative, magical, and essential activity for expanding the mind and soul. On World Book Day we reflect on our love of reading and the joy it brings to children and adults alike! Whether itβs a solo read, one to one or group reading time, thereβs always opportunities to get absorbed in a book. Lots of invitations to get drawn into books are woven throughout the nursery - in and outdoors. We also have a Little Library for the local community to borrow books at the front of our beautiful building - as well as Wellbeing and Fiction books for adults to borrow in the Entrance Hall. Enjoy World Book Day ππππ
