We've got our What's Next Wind Band day on June 6th, Blow the Dust Off Your Instrument on June 13th and the Midsummer Singing day on June 21st
All of our groups have rehearsals happening throughout the week - please do come along if you fancy joining. Your first taster session is free!

We can't wait for our What's Next Wind Band day this Saturday 06 June. It's going to be a great day of music-making and community building for wind, brass and percussion players aged 18-35.

Introducing our final Guest Artist for Summer School 2026!
Emma Crossley graduated from the University of Manchester with First Class Honours, and a Distinction for Postgraduate Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music, Emma began her professional career in Manchester as leader of The Rivoli String Quartet and as an orchestral freelancer. Emma went on to form and lead many other ensembles and is currently a member of the Opus 3 piano trio.
Teaching the violin and piano, coaching chamber music, and tutoring on orchestral courses such as the English Schools Orchestra course, also play a very important role in Emma’s musical life. She was Professor of Violin at the University of Sheffield, has taught at many music centres, schools, International Summer Schools, and privately, for many years.

Introducing our second Guest Artist for Summer School 2026!
Marcus Farnsworth performs in operas, concerts and recitals around the world. He is also a conductor specialising in choral and vocal music. He is a past first prize winner of the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Song Prize at the Kathleen Ferrier Competition. In addition to a busy career as a performer, Marcus is Head of Vocal and Choral Studies at Chetham’s School of Music, Musical Director of the Southwell Choral Society and is Founder and Artistic Director of the Southwell Music Festival.

We can't believe our Vocals course was only a week ago!!
We had the best time channeling our inner heroes (and villains) 😁
A huge well done to all of our singers - you guys were fantastic and filled the hall with sound! Thank you all of the staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make this wonderful weekend possible too!
We can't wait for our Christmas Vocals course - make sure to save the dates below:
