Summer Sessions: Jane Eyre!
Monday 2nd August - Friday 6th August, 9-10am each day.
£60 for the week (five hour long tutorials!)
I am running a summer session on Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte - a week long intensive study of Bronte's incredible novel, with lots of group discussion, analysis and creative writing exercises.
We will look in detail at the novel, with group discussions on plot, character and themes. We will think about how to analyse language and structure, whilst also doing creative writing exercises based on some of the ideas Jane Eyre explores.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to engage with a text, and think about how we shape meaning and understanding from writing. Suitable for ages 11/12 to 16, students will be able to work at their own level when responding to the novel.
