Morning, what a beautiful week! Loving the sunshine here at preschool🌞.

The children have been exploring the natural world of our garden and all the little insects they got there eyes on as well as looking for birds and planes in the sky.🕊🐌🐜🌿✈

Our little gardeners have been planting some lovely cress, Decorating pots for our sunflowers 🌻. Exploring the textures of cotton wool,water and the seeds and they have learnt so much about how they grow and that we have to water them everyday 💧.

Our book of the week has been jack and the beanstalk to follow our topic this week. The children have absolutely loved it 😊.

Pirate week here at preschool the children have had lots of fun dressing up and reading lots of pirate stories including the pirates love underpants and the pirates on the bus. We made lovely pirate hats and telescopes the children really did think they were pirates looking for the treasure 🔭💰 they even walked the plank! What a super fun week for our little pirates! 😁

A massive well done to our new starters this week! They've all had an amazing first week!
A big well done to the oldest children too who have shown so much independence and excellent role models. ✔💫

This term we've been looking at the number 5, with a sing along to 5 little ducks and it was absolutely brill! Our term colour is green 💚 and the children have been very crafty making amazing green number 5s using lots of different textured materials! Weve had some beautiful spring flowers made and 5 handprint little duckies 🦆🐥

Our first week back and we have been so busy,having so much fun exploring the garden and enjoying spring! 🌸🌻🌿

We have a little one who was promoted to big brother and 3 birthdays this week so celebrations have been in full swing. Congratulations and happy birthday!🎉🎈

We finished this term with a lovely Pyjama Day! 💤 We read one of our leaver’s favourite stories, "the Scarecrow’s Wedding" & "Ed's egg", which the children really enjoyed.While celebrating our leaver (and early birthday) , we also took time to value the friendships we have built—it really shows what a wonderful group we have 💛
A big thank you to the family for bringing in delicious food for everyone to share—it made the day extra special 💕
We also had lots of Easter fun with an egg hunt and enjoyed making colourful Easter eggs, bunnies and chicks 🐣✨
Time for a well-deserved break—have a lovely half term everyone! 💛

Happy FRIDAY!

A lovely week here at playgroup! A Big THANK you to a parent and child of ours that's very kindly donated us a lovely balance beam and stepping stones the children have absolutely loved this new addition to our garden and have been practising there balancing skills.😁

We have celebrated a 3rd and 4th birthday this week with some yummy cake and sweeties! A very beautiful happy birthday song and celebrations 🎂

Lots of fantastic stories and set up activities. 🦕🦖 The dino story was a massive hit this week with lots of dino activities too. Our ladybird craft was absolutely fantastic the children counted the spots as they used there finger to create them, the children then went into the garden on a hunt to find as many ladybirds as they could and count there spots 🐞

Happy Eid!!!! We hope you all have an amazing Eid and full of fun celebrations today. We are decorating our mehndi hand patterns today and some fun activities to celebrate! 🎉

Happy Friday!

Thank you to all the mums and grandmas for the lovely morning together yesterday! The children absolutely loved it, and it means so much to share these special moments with you.
We often talk with the children about the “superheroes in our lives” — the people who care for us, help us and make us feel loved. What a wonderful way to celebrate those special people together.
Everyone enjoyed decorating cakes, and it was lovely to see mums and grandmas joining in.
After parents left there were a few tears, but lots of cuddles helped. We then read the beautiful stories “I Love You Mummy” and "Grandma loves me”- stories. ❤

Weve had an amazing week also celebrating superhero day, the children looked amazing and really enjoyed it. We had all the superheroes out to play and a lovely superhero story.

The children have been demonstrating strength,balance and coordination through play outdoors with balancing beams and running,jumping,dancing,hopping and skipping.

We look forward to the lovely week ahead. And we wish you all a very lovely weekend. 🤗

What a lovely first week back weve had! 😁

This week we celebrated Pancake Day as we missed it last week during half term 🥞The children have been learning about what ingredients we use to make pancakes and enjoyed lots of hands-on play with flour, eggs, mixing bowls and pans. It was a lovely sensory and mark-making experience!
And of course… we had pancakes for snack!
“The best day ever!” is how the children described it 🥰

We are making our very own hungry caterpillar this week, lots of fun crafts exploring different materials and textures and a lovely story time.🐛.

The children have enjoyed all of the valentines crafts stories and sharing the love this week with a lovely Valentine's party the children have danced away and played some lovely games.

Happy Chinese New year!
Children have made some lovely puppets and have dressed up in some lovely Chinese clothing. They have done some amazing colouring of 2026 year of the horse. We've had a wonderful story of lanterns and firecrackers 🎆
