Little Angels Daycare - Childminding service

It’s been so lovely having all the children back this week 💜
We’ve also had a big welcome to some new little faces joining us – it’s been a full house and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Everyone is settling back into routine so nicely, with lots of smiles, laughter, and busy days already. Looking forward to a fun-filled term ahead with plenty of activities, learning, and special moments 🥰

We’ve had such a lovely few weeks with all the children, really getting into Easter! From creative Easter crafts and egg hunts to a special party with lots of yummy treats. Then, to finish off these last few days, we enjoyed a few park trips in the sunshine. We also went to an Easter event, where the children really loved the egg and spoon race, more treats, and a fun egg hunt! Wishing all our families a Happy Easter 💛 We are now closed for a while for a well-deserved break, and we’ll see you all again soon!

Happy St Patrick's Day! We had so much fun today with our mint green playdough and some little clover crafts. Wishing you all a day full of luck and joy! 🍀☘️

The children have had a lovely time making Mother’s Day crafts, baking some yummy treats, decorating, and enjoying lots of outdoor play. We’ve also spent time at the park and exploring outside in the fresh air. It’s been a week full of creativity, laughter, and learning through play. 🎨🧁🌿
Wishing all the wonderful mums, mums-to-be, and childminders/childcare providers who play such a big part in children’s lives day in and day out a very Happy Mother’s Day. I hope you all have a lovely weekend celebrating! 💐💖

A busy start to the week at Little Angels Childminding!

In the morning the children made special Mother’s Day handprint paintings, which they were very excited about. It was lovely to see them getting creative and making something special for their mums.
After that we headed to Forest School, where the children enjoyed riding bikes along the paths, digging in the sand, and exploring the natural surroundings. Outdoor play is always a favourite!
In the afternoon we finished the day with some baking, where the children helped with mixing and measuring.
A lovely day full of creativity, outdoor fun and learning through play. 😊

We’ve had a lovely week at Little Angels Childminding! 🌸
The children have been enjoying lots of outdoor play, making the most of the fresh air and spending time together in the garden. We’ve also had a few visits to playgroup and the park, where the children enjoyed exploring, socialising and developing their confidence in new environments.
Back at setting, we’ve been getting creative with starting some spring crafts, which the children really enjoyed. It’s always lovely to see their imaginations come to life through art.
Water play has also been a favourite this week, with lots of pouring, filling and experimenting using different containers.
A wonderful week of learning through play, creativity and outdoor adventures. 💜

Feeling so grateful 💜 Thank you to one of our lovely families for these beautiful flowers for me and my daughter on Friday. Such a kind and thoughtful surprise. We truly appreciate it 🌸

We enjoyed Forest School today!

Thank you to Derbyshire and Notts Early Years Stronger Practice Hub for organising such a wonderful time. The children explored the woods, enjoyed some singing and story time, and had some lovely warm hot chocolate!

🥞✨ Happy Pancake Day! ✨🥞
We’ve had such a lovely day celebrating! The children had so much fun helping to make the pancakes – mixing, pouring and of course taste-testing! They were very proud of their creations (and even happier eating them 😋).
We also enjoyed going to a pancake party at group, which was full of smiles, laughter and lots more delicious treats. A wonderful day of learning, sharing and making sweet memories together 💛
