Joe Wicks - I’m calling b*llsh*t 😤
Running a marathon on no fuel, no fluids, no toilet stops?
That’s not elite. That’s not smart. And it’s definitely not something to promote to the masses.
As a coach, this is exactly the kind of messaging that gets people into trouble.
A marathon is:
- 26.2 miles
- Hours of effort
- A huge demand on your body
Turning up under- fuelled and dehydrated isn’t impressive - it’s risky.
This is what my race actually looked like 👆
A marathon isn’t about “toughing it out” at all costs. It’s about managing your energy, hydration, and effort over time.
With London Marathon just a week away, don’t get caught up in this NONSENSE!
Eat well.
Drink well.
Run well.
Your body will thank you for it.

A late March round up 📸
Lots of racing, eating & sightseeing. April is for sitting a bit more 😅

WHAT IF…🤔
It didn’t have to be all or nothing?
What if you just booked the race…🏃
and enjoyed the process instead of chasing perfect?
What if “good enough” done consistently is actually what gets you results ✨

Bodybuilding Reflections 🏋
The reality behind getting into this shape for competition - the highs, the lows, and everything that came with it …
An experience that taught me a lot - including how hard fake tan is to remove and the importance of Tupperware 😅
A few things I’ve been thinking about 💭
😂

Imagine you just give it a year & see what happens…

Rome marathon 26’
Probably up there with one of the best weekends of my life, extra thank you to those who donated money too, £730 + gift aid raised for 🎉💚
Also, can someone get me some new hips please 🧑🦽➡️

Two weeks out from Rome 🇮🇹 and the training has been teaching me a few lessons along the way.
Mostly the simple ones: be patient, don’t chase a PB every time you lace up, don’t skip the strength work, but also, enjoy it!
None of this is ground breaking just a few simple reminders that have made my running a lot more enjoyable (and a bit kinder on the body!)
I’d love to hear from any of you fellow runners with any tips or events coming up? 👀🏃

Why work with me?
I’ve worked in fitness for 10 years now.
I’ve helped hundreds of clients build muscle, lose body fat, get stronger, and feel more confident.
I’ve also stepped on stage as a bodybuilder.
Competed in HYROX.
Ran an ultra marathon.
Not because I needed to -
But because I believe a coach should understand what it feels like to be challenged.
I know what it’s like to:
- Feel unsure in the gym
- Chase a performance goal
- Prep for something that scares you
- Lose motivation
- Question if you’re progressing
My coaching is about structure, education, fun, and consistency - built around real life.
If you’re thinking of seeking some support & guidance, I’d love to help.

Highest mileage yet 🏃📈
Have to be a bit careful with crazy mileage being heavier, don’t want to turn my knees to dust & an injury free life is a happy life 😇 (if we’re ignoring the little aches & pains)

YOU DONT HAVE TO ACCEPT MUSCLE LOSS AS A RESULT OF HIGHER CARDIO OUTPUT 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Here’s the few things I’m doing to make sure I don’t look like a long distance runner ☝️☝️☝️

We FINALLY made it out of January 😅
Made the most out of it being 3 months long though 😂
