Instructor / Practitioner

Temporary fixed term contract
1st September 2026 – 15th October 2026
£2,936.01 for duration of contract (pro rata)
You will be expected to work 35 hrs per week, there may be some differential on the hours each week, but you shouldn’t work more than 231 hours over the duration of the contract. Working hours will be flexible; including work at evenings and weekends.

We are looking for enthusiastic Outdoor activity instructors who are passionate about the outdoors, we need you to hit the ground running, so you will need confidence, qualifications and experience in delivering some of the following activities and sessions.
Archery, Axe throwing, Bushcraft, Raft building, Canoeing, Climbing, Abseiling, High ropes, Crate stack, Zip line and team dynamics.
You will receive site specific training on these activities, but our expectation is that you have been signed off competent at a previous centre and you are now wanting to expand your experience.
We have some busy school residentials, school activity days, corporate team days and alternative education programme over the duration of the contract, so you will need to be a skilled communicator, able to adapt your style to a variety of customers and be completely committed to using the outdoors to develop, re-focus and inspire people.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable team players who are confident to work independently with small groups and on a one to one basis.
An enhanced DBS clearance is required.
