βοΈ Form KH visited Great Yarmouth Seafront today.
We used the money from our very successful business enterprise (selling pizza π to staff) to enjoy rides on the big wheel, horse and carriage rides, playing in the amusement arcade and of course yummy chips and treats! π¦

πWhat a wonderful visit from Chris Page ITV. We learnt so much information and asked lots of questions.
We found out that Chris doesn't have an autocue so presents the weather thinking of things to say! He also has to talk to a time limit.
We practiced this in class. It was so tricky!π

Day 4 - Residential β
It was a very wet last day today! βοΈ π§οΈ
However, the students managed to go bowling, have a movie evening and get all packed before returning back to school tomorrow.

Today has been filled with pancakes, singing, pottery painting, dodging the rain and a BBQ! π₯
Students have had lots of fun and are very full.

Day 2 - Residential β
Today, the students spent time exploring the site to find out more about the activities available to them.
This afternoon, we had a session with the owls, where each student had the opportunity to hold an owl. π¦
They enjoyed practising their independence by making breakfast and dinner today! We have also had numerous visitors outside who seemed very interested in our foodβ¦ π¦

Day 1 β Centre Parcs Residential β
We are back at The Clare Schoolβs home away from home for another fun-filled week! π³π²
This afternoon, everyone unpacked and settled in. This evening was quiz night, where we finished 5th out of 21 teams! Once everyone came back to the lodge, it was time to chill out and get ready for bed. π

π Luisa from Norwich Making Space led a wonderful embroidery collage workshop, guiding us through a variety of sewing stitches and giving us the opportunity to practise our new skills. Once we felt confident, we were invited to select from an inspiring collection of postcards and photographs and use different stitches to enhance the images.
There was a fantastic selection of pictures to choose from, along with a beautiful range of embroidery threads in many lovely shades. After practising the techniques, we were free to use our creativity and imagination to produce unique, textured pieces of artwork, each with its own distinctive character.
At Β£5 pp these workshops are a real bargain. The next workshops are:
