Wanna Lead PEโฆGoing Global! ๐
When I started writing Wanna Lead PE, I hoped it would support a few PE leaders as they navigated the challenges and opportunities of leading a department.
Two months following the release, Iโm humbled to see the book purchased by PE leaders across 12+ countries and counting. ๐
From experienced Heads of PE to aspiring middle leaders, it is encouraging to know that the conversations, reflections, and practical experiences shared within the book are resonating with educators around the world.
Wanna Lead PE was written to provide real-world guidance for current and future PE leaders. It draws on shop-floor experience, leadership lessons, and contributions from outstanding PE professionals who have generously shared their insights throughout the book. ๐๐ก
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, purchased, shared, recommended, or discussed the book. Your support continues to grow this global PE leadership community. ๐
Iโm curiousโฆ
๐ Which country are you reading from?
๐ What is the biggest challenge facing PE leaders right now?

๐ข Exciting Partnership Announcement ๐ข
Wanna Teach PE is proud to announce its partnership with Her Game Too, joining a movement committed to creating a sporting environment where women and girls are welcomed, respected and treated equally.
At Wanna Teach PE, we believe that sport should be a place of opportunity, enjoyment and belonging for everyone. The values and mission of Her Game Too strongly align with our own commitment to promoting positive experiences in physical education and sport.
As a father of an 11-year-old daughter who loves playing sport, this partnership is particularly meaningful to me. I am passionate about seeing a future where she, her teammates and all young people can participate in sport with complete equity and without prejudice. Every child deserves the chance to play, compete and thrive in an environment built on respect and inclusion.
Her Game Too has become a powerful voice for change, championing equality and increasing opportunities for women and girls across sport. We are delighted to stand alongside the campaign and support its continued growth.
Looking ahead, Wanna Teach PE is excited to support the project through the delivery of workshops and educational opportunities that will help empower young people, challenge stereotypes and promote positive cultures within schools, clubs and communities.
Together, we can help create lasting change and ensure that sport truly is a game for everyone.
Thank you to the team at Her Game Too for their trust and collaboration. We look forward to working together to support, empower and campaign for change.

๐ฃ Wanna Teach PE Announcement ๐ฃ
After 4 years of growing the account to 90,000 followers, today marks the end of WTPE on Twitter (it was never X was it?!?).
My account has been hacked and Elon and pals arenโt able to support with the recovery of the page. To be honest, I was initially gutted but Twitter isnโt what it used to be so I will be investing more energy into the growth of my other social accounts and linkedin:
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wannateachpe?igsh=eXdqZmZ0dXc1aG1q&utm_source=qr
TikTok: (35,000+): https://www.tiktok.com/?_r=1&_t=ZN-96qWi35nk3y
Please can people still on Twitter report and unfollow my old account, wouldnโt like to think scumbags could benefit from my years of work on the page.
Hope the page helped teachers and coaches to plan and deliver lessons and sessions to foster a love of movement in young people.
Onwards and Upwards.
