We are very excited to welcome parents and families into school at 3:30pm today to explore our new online reading records, boom reader.

We were absolutely delighted to welcome children teams from Norfolk in supporting children with SEND this morning. We had such a great turn out from our parent/carer community - thank you all for attending!

Do you think your child may have additional needs, or is awaiting a diagnosis? Does your child have an identified special educational need or disability?

We are inviting our families for coffee, cake and biscuits on Tuesday 20th January between 9-10am. There will be the opportunity to meet out SENCo and a range of external agencies in this time who can offer support both inside and outside of school.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Norfolk STEPs approach training and support will take place on 19th and 26th January 2026 at Heartsease Primary. Come and join us with the Schools and Communities team to share strategies which may support.

The children had a wonderful time at break and lunch today, playing together in the snow. We tried hard to make snowmen but the snow just didn’t want to stick together.
Here are some of the snowmen that were made.

We also had some brave snow angels created. 🥶🥶

❄️ School is Open Today! ❄️

- Please take extra care getting to and from school – some areas are still very icy!

- We don't recommend using bikes or scooters today 🚲❌

- Children must have a warm coat and waterproof shoes to go outside, but we hope to allow pupils to enjoy the snow! 🧥🥾

-We’ll check playground conditions before breaks and complete a risk assessment – indoor play may happen if needed.

- We are hoping to do a Snowman Competition across each class if conditions allow! Each class will build their own – let’s see those creative snow buddies! ⛄🎉

With the weather turning frosty, we are beginning to feel very festive here at Heartsease.

🎄🎄We would like to say a huge thank you to Thorpe Plant Centre Norwich who donated our wonderful Christmas tree this year!

🎄✨ We are also very much looking forward to welcoming parents and carers into classrooms for our Christmas Decoration Afternoon on Tuesday. It promises to be a fantastic
opportunity to get creative, share in the festive spirit and make some special memories together.

We are very excited to share our festive plans over the Christmas period!
We are delighted to invite you into school to celebrate with us on Tuesday 2nd December for a Christmas decorating afternoon with the classes, in addition to the early years stay and plays.

Just a reminder the Year 6 Parents Welcome Meeting will be taking place today (Thursday 18th September) at 3:40pm. Pupils welcome to attend with Parents/carers, please enter via the main school office, meeting will take place in the Hall, thank you
