Norwich High School for Girls GDST

Norwich High School for Girls GDST For girls aged 3–18. Named one of The Sunday Times’ Top Five Schools for Academic Excellence in East Anglia 2026. Welcome to Norwich High School for Girls.

We are a friendly, vibrant and outward-looking community and are always happy to welcome visitors, whether you are a prospective pupil or parent, a former student or simply wish to learn more about the school. Ensuring each girl is valued and supported throughout her time at the school is at the heart of what we do and we are immensely proud of everything the girls achieve, whether it be examination results, sporting, musical or creative endeavours or community service and charity work. We aim to foster a love of intellectual enquiry and a concern for others and to nurture self assured, happy young women with the confidence and drive to pursue their ambitions and make a positive difference. We believe Norwich High is an exceptional school and hope you will be able to visit in person to experience for yourself what makes it such a wonderful place.

This week, performing arts teacher Miss Lili-Mae ran an amazing Toy Story-themed dance camp for some of our Prep School pupils ✨️

Finishing with a performance to friends and family on Friday, the girls danced, acted and sang their hearts out, all inspired by the Toy Story franchise. It was wonderful to see the girls, from our youngest pupils to Year 6, working together across year groups. They helped one another learn lines, put themselves forward for solos and even perfected the costumes, makeup and hairstyles!

Well done to all the girls, you should be so proud!
