If you are thinking about a new career in garden design this could be the course for you. One year course, starts September and equips you to start your own business when you graduate.

From the RAF to garden design in two short years

‘As I began my transition from military life, I knew I wanted to get away from endless spreadsheets and decades of operational focus, and I turned to my love of gardening for inspiration.

Alongside gaining practical experience and qualifications, I booked onto the Introduction to Garden Design course and quickly realised that this was where I was happiest. Next came the one year Diploma in Garden Design where designing, construction and plants quickly became an obsession.

‘Developing basic skills into high-end concept design and project delivery has been hugely rewarding, and with commercial and residential projects now under my belt I am unbelievably excited to see what the future brings’.

Pete is now a garden designer based in West Norfolk, working with private as well as commercial and charity sector clients. Safe to say he is very glad he made the move.
