Wishing all my students a happy return to school. I'm especially thinking of the class of 2026 as they start the next part of their educational journey!

A massive ✨Light A Spark Tuition ✨ congratulations to ALL my students who all got the grades I was expecting them to get. I had several borderline students this year some got the higher grades and some got the lower grades because of things that happened during their exam, before their exam or their special needs. One or two got 1s, 2s and 3s because of the above reasons but the majority got 4s, 5s, 6s and of course the 9s. For all my students these are really good grades as the majority of my students have barriers to learning.
You are ALL superstars 🌟 and I wish you all the best as you start the next phase of your journey. Please keep touch ❤️

As I was writing that good luck post my London student contacted me to say she'd got 9s in both her English Language and English Literature! 🥳🎉They are my first 9s!

What makes the language one so special is that her school changed to igcse at the start of year 11 and I'd never taught that before so I was learning at the same time. A confidence boost for me too!

I am so pleased for you as you worked so hard to move from where you were when you first started tuition.

Wishing you every good wish for the next stage of your life.

Definitely a good start to the day (💃 happy dance)

Wishing my class of 2026 the results they deserve from all their hard work and the results they need for their next step. But remember you all have qualities that are important for life and being a fabulous person that are not tested by GCSEs .
Let me know how you got on please ❤️

✨Light A Spark✨ moment today goes to my young man who attends a local special school who has passed his Entry Level 2 Functional Skills in both maths and English. I am so proud of you 👏. Hopefully, I'll see you in September once you've started college to continue your learning journey. Well done young man 🎉

Wishing my year 11s calmness and clear thinking as they start their GCSEs tomorrow. I hope tomorrow's English Lit paper is kind to you so that you are able to write well and do yourself justice. Remember you need an introduction, 3-4 paragraphs and a conclusion. You must write about the whole play/book as well as the text you are given to avoid being capped. I'll be thinking of you all. 💕
