Back due to incredible demand, the NUSS is holding its third trauma conference! The day aims to give medical students an introduction to the extremely fast paced, exciting and popular world of trauma medicine and surgery, preparing students for medicine in the real world. The team have worked very hard to fuel pack the day with incredible teaching from the medical pioneer Sir Roy Calne and other i

ncredible surgeons. The day will include lectures and a series of workshops teaching skills such as tracheostomies, chest drain insertion and more! Furthermore, the much remembered outdoor Trauma Simulation is back, run in collaboration with the British Army and NARS. You will learn how to handle pressure filled situations with the skills you've just learnt and make snap decisions in an acute setting. There will also be the opportunity to present in our Poster Competition and Case presentation Competition, open to all delegates. Candidates will be expected to deliver a 10 minute presentation on patient cases they have come across in Trauma Surgery. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS OPEN NOW

Deadline submission for both abstract and case presentation competition is 17/1/2015

Certificates and prizes will be awarded to the best case & poster presentation! The event will take place in the Julian Study Centre, University of East Anglia. With help from our sponsors and supporters, we are happy to announce that entry to the conference has been affordably priced at:

£30 (entry to the conference)
£40 (entry to the conference and delegate dinner)

If you have bought a ticket, you should have either received an email from the box office or from our account! Please can you make sure that you fill in the survey for us before 6pm tomorrow night, as we're going to be putting everyone in groups, and we want to make sure that you get the workshops you want!
