We love a tea party .

We use real life objects to enhance our play. Yes the cups and tea pots are all china.

This encourages the children to be careful and gentle with our resources .
It also promotes language, physical , sharing and social skills.
Anyone for a cuppa?

What marvellous 🌞 sunny weather we are having ! To mark this wonderful weather could we please ask that all children come with named sun creams and sun hats 🧢

Hopefully it’s here to stay , but the British weather does like to keep us on our toes 😉

We will be celebrating world book day all week next week, if anyone would like to bring their favourite book to share or dress up then please do! 📚 🐻 🐷 👸 👑

We had a wonderful half term week learning all about the Chinese new year. We learnt how our names were pronounced and looked at Chinese symbols.
We played in our rice sensory tray which included Chinese symbols , animals of the Chinese zodiac , noodles and various pots and pans !
We also tried some different types of Chinese foods .

We made our own delicious pizzas for tea, practised those cutting skills and tried new toppings.
Some of us made bird feeders to hang in the garden in the tree using pinecones seeds and lard.
The week went so quickly and we are looking forward to the next break at Easter 🐣

How exciting to see snow ❄️!
Please bring wellies , hats , gloves , waterproofs if you have them and lots of changes of clothes .
We will still be playing outside as long as it’s not too icy !
