Deanne's Home-Grown Childminding

And that's it, Deanne's HomeGrown Childminding is closed as of today. After 7.5 years and looking after a total of 28 children, today was my last day of me being a childminder! ❤

I have been so lucky to have worked with some wonderful families over the years and trusting me with their most precious procession. I can't deny it has been the hardest job I've ever done, but also the most amazing and rewarding. I will be forever grateful for what being a childminder has given me and for me to be around for my own children ❤

Huge thank you to my husband for helping me tidy up after a long day, for sitting with the children and reading them a story when they've asked him and for letting them sit in his van and seeing their little faces light up. The biggest thank you goes to my babies Paige, Abbie and Amber for sharing their mum, their toys and their home all these years. Your patience, understanding and kindness towards our ever changing extended family has always made me proud ❤

And I could never have survived the last 7.5years if it wasn't for the support of my fellow CMs and incredible friends and . Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

We've been busy over the last couple of weeks getting everything we needed to make our sensory gardens which we finished putting together today.
We've got -
Mint/lemongrass for smell
Flower seeds for sight
Water feature for touch
Strawberries for taste
Bells/stones for sound
The children really enjoyed putting this little project together and have now taken it home to look after 😊

Happy Mother's day to you all 🥰 here is what my minded children have been busy doing for their mummies these last couple of weeks 😁

Such a fun week celebrating a birthday and enjoying book week with a different book every day this week. We read The Tiger that Came to Tea and had a tea party, we read Shark in the Park, made our own telescopes and headed to the local park to see if we could find any sharks and today we read Handa's Surprise, pretended to be the animals just like in the book and ate lots of yummy fruit 😀

This week we made heart sun catchers, made cards with heart print painting. We also had yummy chinese food at a local restaurant which the children thoroughly enjoyed and the childminder didn't mind it either 😜😋

That's a wrap folks! Big shout out to my fantastic parents for being so understanding and supportive through another difficult year. Massive thank you for all my lovely gifts, you've all been so generous. Also a huge thank you to my family, especially my 3 girls for sharing me and their home, I know the children absolutely idolise them. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. It's been sooo long since I last did a post but we have been super busy!
Earlier in November the children made some Poppy pictures for remembrance day, enjoyed litter picking and making leaf pictures 😀
