Are you passionate about food, highly organised, and able to create calm within a busy environment?

At Cheeky Smiles, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Chef/Cook to take responsibility for our nursery kitchen, ensuring our children receive nutritious, balanced meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Your role will include:

✅ Planning and preparing healthy meals and snacks
✅ Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural preferences
✅ Ordering, shopping, stock control and restocking
✅ Maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
✅ Working within Better Food, Better Business guidance
✅ Keeping the kitchen organised, compliant and running smoothly

We are looking for someone who:

⭐ Is organised, meticulous and reliable
⭐ Takes pride in maintaining high standards
⭐ Has experience working within a kitchen environment
⭐ Understands food hygiene and allergy management
⭐ Can work independently and as part of a team
⭐ Enjoys making a positive difference to children’s lives

We’re so excited to share that Bakesbyaleesha will be setting up a cake cupboard right outside our front door from this Saturday 2nd May — and it’s here to stay! 🎉
Just in time for our Community Coffee Morning at 10am — everyone is welcome ☕💛
Pop by and treat yourself to something delicious — perfect for a weekend treat or to enjoy with a coffee 🍰

We love supporting local, and this is such a lovely addition for our families and community 💜

For those of you who guessed I was opening a cake shed… you were almost right!

I’m so excited to introduce you to my brand‑new Cake Cupboard, officially opening this Saturday 2nd May, 10am–2pm.🥳

The little cake cupboard will be located at Cheeky Smiles in Tuckswood, and I’ll be there from 10am–12pm on Saturday with FREE tasters so you can try some treats before you buy! 😋

A huge thank you to Lady-Sam Dunn and everyone at Cheeky Smiles for supporting me and giving me this amazing opportunity, it means the world 🥰

The Cake Cupboard itself is going up tomorrow, so keep an eye out for a follow‑up post with photos and directions so you know exactly where to find me on Saturday😊

What a fantastic morning we’ve had! ☀️🦊🦊

We were thrilled to welcome the lovely Sally from Let's Dance Norwich who delivered an engaging and interactive session for our over-twos room. The activities were thoughtfully tailored to suit a range of ages from 22 months to 4 years, ensuring every child was included and fully involved.

The children had an amazing time showing off their best dance moves to some of their favourite songs. They especially enjoyed the interactive rhythm activities and the exciting lion hunt! 🦁🎶

It was a fun-filled morning enjoyed by all — a huge thank you to Sally for such a memorable session! 🦊🦊
