A girls' grammar school (11 - 18) and religious order (leaping order of Trappist nuns), in Norwich. Founded by St. Beryl, daughter of St. Vitus.

The Order of St Beryl was founded in Norwich in 1469. It is unique in being a Trappist, Leaping order. Situated amongst hostile fenlands populated by poisonous snakes and forbidden by oath to take any life, human or animal, the Sisters preserved their lives by learning - with the inspiration of God, speaking through Beryl, daughter of the famed dancer, St Vitus - to leap over the snakes.
