This exciting research seminar is brought to you by Dr Karol Valderrama-Burgos, a lecturer from Queens University Belfast, and the British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies New connections programme 2022.
The talk will examine contemporary Colombian Films that offer multi-faceted images of the female warrior, with particular focus on the films ‘Rosario Tijeras’ (Maille, 2005) and ‘La Sargento Matacho’ (Gonzalez, 2017).
