GSD - Guildhall School of Dancing GSD is one of the oldest dance schools in Norfolk with the highest qualified and experienced teachers

We concentrate on technique, quality and artistry giving all pupils a chance to excel whether they wish to pursue dance as a career or as a hobby. There are classes in ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, street, musical theatre and acro to suit all ages and abilities. Small classes mean that every child can benefit from individual attention and allow us to draw out and nurture the best in everyone. We aim to give encouragement, confidence and discipline which will carry through to all walks of life. GSD is the first school in Norfolk to be an ISTD Approved Dance Centre enabling us to offer teacher training classes for those wishing to gain a full teaching qualification within the structure of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

Famous icons... singers, dancers, actors, musicians, characters, authors the list goes on. Famous household names will appear on our stage and entertain you for 2027.

Introducing our new and fabulous Acro and Street teacher Josh Flegg....

Originally from Lowestoft, Josh began his dance training at local dance schools before earning a full scholarship to Masters Performing Arts College in Essex, where he completed a three-year Performing Arts and Dance course.

After graduating, Josh spent ten years performing internationally as Dance Captain with Norwegian Cruise Line, appearing in a variety of productions across five ships. Since returning to the UK, he has continued performing in television, pantomimes, and on an arena tour in Israel, while also building a successful teaching career.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Josh is passionate about helping young performers grow in confidence, develop strong technique, and most importantly, enjoy every step of their training. He is qualified in Acrobatic Arts Module 1 and Module 2 and is excited to share his experience and passion for acro.

Josh is thrilled to be joining Guildhall School of Dance, where he will be teaching commercial classes as well as introducing acro to the studio. He is incredibly excited to get started, meet the students, and create fun, energetic classes that help performers develop their skills, confidence, and performance ability.

Josh can’t wait to become part of the Guildhall family and is looking forward to an exciting journey filled with dance, acro, creativity, and lots of fun!

We had a fabulous workshop with on Friday. The kids had an absolute blast doing acro and street.
