Making Sense of SEND

Are you looking for information and support for your child or young person with SEND?

Come along to this free, friendly, in-person event:

You can hear an expert-led talk, speak directly with more than 20 services and receive personalised advice. You will also have the opportunity to share feedback with the Education, Health and Care Plan team or a SEND adviser.

🔴 Oak Class – Monday
🟡 Sycamore Class – Wednesday
🔴 Willow Class – Tuesday
🟡 Birch Class – Tuesday (Swimming
🔴 Beech Class – Friday

Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on their class PE day. Thank you! ⚽🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Oak Class: Please do not worry about today. Reception children are still completing their transition, so PE will begin next week for Oak Class.

🍞 Breakfast Club at Valley 🥣

The children are absolutely loving our new Breakfast Club provision! It has been wonderful seeing them enjoy a positive start to the school day with their friends.

Breakfast Club is completely free, and children can attend as many days as they wish. You can book one day at a time or book sessions for the entire academic year through Arbor.

Every day, children can choose from toast, cereals, fresh fruit and drinks, alongside our special of the day.

We would love to see even more children joining us! 🍎☀️

📚 Once Upon a Times at Valley Primary 📚

Norfolk County Council Family Learning will be joining us on Friday 11th September, from 1:15pm to 3:15pm, for a free English and Maths workshop.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about how English and Maths are taught in school and how you can support your child at home.

We will provide refreshments and it will be a fantastic opportunity for you to see our new 'rainbow room'.

Children attending Breakfast Club should enter through the green gate nearest to Knowland Grove.

🕒 The gate will be open from 7:45am until 8:00am and will close promptly at 8:00am.

🌟 Reception Staggered Start – September 2026 🌟

We’re really looking forward to welcoming our new Reception children to Valley Primary Academy!

Please check the timetable below carefully, including whether your child is in Group A or Group B, as their session times differ on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September.

From Monday 7 September, all Reception children will attend together, gradually building up to their first full school day on Friday 11 September.

We can’t wait to see you all and begin this exciting journey together! 🎒✏️⭐
