Children from Heron Class tidied up the pots outside the office with some beautiful summer bedding plants. They also planted some in the raised beds outside their classroom. Many thanks to North Walsham Garden Centre for the kind donation of flowers. We look forward to watching them bloom!

We are Bertie, Wilf and Matilda from Heron Class and we’d like to tell you what the children at Ludham Primary School and Nursery like most about our school. We spoke to children from each class and this is what they told us…
Kingfisher class talked to us about what they are learning: metamorphosis, plants and counting! They also mentioned how they enjoy playing at lunchtime with their friends.
Marsh Harrier class are learning about flight and are looking forward to their upcoming trip to the Aviation Museum in Norwich.
Owls enjoy swimming every week – they are going to Broadland High School to use their pool. They also like PE; they enjoy being active! The children also chatted about their trip to Norwich Castle.
Heron class really enjoy science lessons. We recently learned about the circulatory system and even did a heart dissection as part of our learning. We also love art. At the moment, we are doing realistic, close detail drawings.

🌍 Happy Earth Day! 🌍
This week, we were delighted to welcome a very special visit to school as the Tubby family kindly brought in a sheep and her two lambs. They joined us for our Stay and Play session, the Kingfisher session, and were also available for anyone who wanted to visit them during playtime.
The children asked lots of thoughtful questions and showed great interest as they enjoyed watching the lambs playing.
A huge thank you to the Tubby family for sharing this wonderful experience with us, and a special shout-out to Mabel for confidently telling everyone all about her sheep 🐑
