Students, local elections are happening throughout the UK today. There are elections for Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council & Ipswich Borough Council and you can check if there are elections in your area, and who you can vote for here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0ljrp76ywxo
To vote, you need to be 18+, registered to vote and bring photo ID with you. Polling stations opened at 07:00 and will close tonight at 22:00; you can find the address of your polling station on your poll card.

Students, this week is Deaf Awareness Week, taking place annually to raise awareness about deafness and to celebrate the deaf community. Students, today is Saint George’s Day, the feast day of the patron saint of England. Saint George was an early Christian martyr and is remembered through the legend of Saint George and the Dragon. He is also the patron saint of a number of other countries around the world, including Georgia and Ethiopia.

Students, yesterday was St Patrick's Day, celebrating Irish culture. St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and his feast day is a national holiday in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
