Craig will be running in Sunday, he has already raised just over £500 to help support us. We are so incredibly grateful to him and those of you that have supported him and us already. Any last minute donations would be amazing to show support to him and enable us to purchase resources to help with the children’s learning 😊

We have had a really busy half term, we have been talking about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have watched our tiny caterpillars, get bigger and bigger before wrapping themselves into their cocoons, we watched them hatch and fed them to help them grow strong enough to fly free. We have been thinking about growing… planting our own sunflowers, runner beans and cress to watch how it grows we know that our little seeds need lots of sunshine and water to help them grow big and tall.
It was St George’s day so we had a lovely snack of scones and jam, and made our own flags to wave.
We have really enjoyed the very hungry caterpillar story and have been helping to read the book together, and talk about the different foods and what our healthy options could be. We have also done some movement thinking about how the caterpillars and butterflies would move. Our lovely display was created using different textures and methods.
