Staff have been really busy today and have another full day of getting everything ready for the children (year 1 and year 2) to come back Thursday morning at 8.40am.

We had some tough decisions to make this week about cancelling sports day or going ahead despite the extreme weather. We decided to opt for a shorter session so the children didn't miss out and quickly adjusted the plan so we had 4 activities with two hydration stations for breaks. We put up Gazebos for shade and ensured children had 5 sips of water before and after every activity. We really appreciate all the parents who supported us today with your kind words, showing up for your children and braving the heat as well as participating in our water balloon and hose pipe fun! Thank you so much for your support.

In showbiz they say "never work with children or animals" but here at Chapel Break we know how wonderful both can be. Year 1 had a trip to Wroxham Barns as part of their project "Can you help kindness grow?" They got to learn about growing food, looking after animals and had lots of fun at the petting station. Thank you to all the adults who supported. This wouldn't be possible without their hard work. And of course our amazing children who were a credit to us and to you.
