Interested in a free art session near you for your child or young person this summer?

Held at libraries across Norfolk, Voices Through Art are popular free sessions for children and young people with SEND aged from 0 to 25 where they can express themselves through art and make new friends.

Norwich Airport has launched an innovative AI-powered wayfinding system aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers with additional needs.

In what is believed to be a UK-first, the airport has teamed up with a local company called Access to Words to provide passengers with on-demand multi-lingual support in British Sign Language, spoken words, large print and easy-read formats to help them navigate their way around the airport.

We're feeling the heat again Norfolk! Another Amber heat health alert has been issued, from noon today until 6pm on Tuesday. 😎 Please make sure you stay cool and hydrated, look after vulnerable people and watch out for the signs of heatstroke.

🚒 As the temperature rises, so does the risk of a wildfire in Norfolk.
In May we attended 37 fires in the open in our county, the busiest May for outdoor fires for a very long time.
June has seen higher than average numbers too - and it's not over yet!
🔥 Fires in the open which affect grassland or woodland can easily spread- with disastrous consequences for wildlife, people and buildings.
Help us to reduce the risk by:

🗑️ Taking litter home
📱 Being vigilant and calling 999 if you see a fire
🚬 Fully extinguishing smoking materials
🥪 Taking picnics not barbecues
🔥 Being extremely careful with bonfires- preferably don't have them in hot, dry weather
