If you’re feeling nervous about coming to Girls Club, honestly… SAME. I was so worried before my first session – like, “what if everyone’s already friends?” or “what if I’m the weird one?” 🙈
But once I got there, I realised everyone else was just as nervous and that made it feel so much easier. No one judges you, no one expects you to be “perfect,” and you don’t have to pretend to be confident if you’re not. We’re all just figuring stuff out together.
Girls Club is literally the place where you can be yourself, talk about real things, laugh, maybe cry a bit, and still feel totally normal afterwards. You are not the only one who feels anxious – we all do at the start. 💗
So if you’re thinking about joining but your brain is doing the worry spiral… this is your sign. Come sit with us. You’ll be okay, promise

Bursting with gratitude reading this beautiful review from Emrys, age 13:
“I had a really amazing experience in this group. The girls are super supportive and lovely and it made me feel really comfortable. Julie is an excellent teacher – very knowledgeable and understanding. I give this group five stars.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Creating a space where girls feel safe, supported, seen, and comfortable in themselves is exactly why The Girls Club exists. Hearing this reflected back from the girls themselves means everything.
If you’d love your daughter to:
✨ build confidence
✨ make genuine friendships
✨ learn tools for managing emotions, stress, and self-doubt
✨ feel supported by other girls who truly “get it”
…then she is so welcome to join us.
Thank you, Emrys, for your kind words – we are so glad you’re part of The Girls Club.
👉 Message me for details about our next intake on Wednesday 4th February or to ask any questions.

I just published a blog that explains why The Girls’ Club exists, why this work matters, and why early support for girls is so important.
For me, it comes from decades of working with children, years of supporting my own daughter through trauma and my own healing journey, and three years of working with women who carry unhealed wounds from their younger years. What I’ve learned is that when girls are given the right language, emotional tools, and a safe space, real transformation becomes possible.
It also takes real bravery for a girl to show up to something new, especially if she’s never felt truly understood before. Choosing to be seen, choosing support, choosing connection — that itself is healing.

The Girls’ Club – why this work matters now more than ever
The Girls’ Club was created from three places in my life. The first is my decades of experience working with children and young people. The second is my own personal healing journey, supporting my teenage daughter through PTSD, and realising very clearly that sometimes stand-alone therapy is not eno...

Before approaching the ‘period & puberty’ conversation, it is essential that you create a safe space for the girls. As a facilitator you have to create trust before opening up the conversation that will ultimately bring up triggers and shame. Laying the groundwork around mindset, negative self talk, bodily triggers and then providing tools and strategies for all this, lays a strong foundation of trust and openness which ultimately enables them to express themselves more fully.

✨ Exciting News! ✨ (Please share or tag)
Today I applied for National Lottery Awards for All funding to offer 50 girls a fully funded place in The Girls’ Club — a 6-week emotional wellbeing programme with 10 months of ongoing support.
If you have a teenage daughter who’s struggling with confidence, friendships, anxiety, body image, or emotional overwhelm, this programme could make a huge difference. The Girls’ Club helps girls feel more confident, connected, regulated and proud of who they are.
If the funding is approved, places will be completely free for those who need it most.

30 years in education.
7 years supporting my daughter through PTSD, Epilepsy & Endometriosis.
3 years supporting women with pelvic trauma.
All of it has brought me to this moment… to creating one of the most rewarding and life-changing programmes of my entire career: The Girls’ Club.
The truth is, when my daughter went through puberty, I couldn’t support her the way she needed. Not because I didn’t love her — but because I didn’t yet have the tools, the regulation, the inner capacity I have now. That experience has shaped me more than any degree or qualification ever could.
And it’s exactly why this programme has become my best, most important work.
This first cohort of girls came in with heavy realities — anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional shutdown, self-harm concerns, eating struggles — and they showed up with honesty and courage. Week after week, they opened, softened, laughed, cried, healed, connected… and said things like…(see pics)
We had a 100% retention rate — every single girl completed the 6 weeks — and now they’ve asked to continue meeting monthly. A space to celebrate their ups and downs, their first periods, their body changes, their friendships… and to grow a true sisterhood.
What I couldn’t give my daughter back then, I am now giving to a whole generation of girls — and that is the deepest full-circle moment of my life.
The Girls’ Club is just getting started.
And I’ve never been prouder of anything I’ve created.

Introducing The Girls’ Club Collective
(A sister company to P***y Galore®) 🐈⬛
Over the past couple of months, I’ve quietly been building The Girls’ Club Collective — a social enterprise created to support the emotional wellbeing of girls aged 10–17. This space was born from my 30+ years in child development, my trauma-informed healing work with women, and my own personal journey supporting my daughter through PTSD, PKU, Epilepsy & Endometriosis
Our mission is simple:
To give girls a safe, nurturing space where they can learn emotional resilience, body confidence, self-worth and practical tools to help them navigate some of the toughest years of growing up.
And here is the part I’m most passionate about…
We are starting as a social enterprise and moving toward charity status in the coming months.
This means our long-term goal is for these programmes to be free for all girls who need them.
Through crowd-funded support, grants, sponsorship and charitable funding, we aim to remove all financial barriers so every girl—no matter her background—has access to this life-changing emotional education.
Does your daughter need this support?
If you have a girl aged 10–17 who is struggling with any of the following:
💗 Confidence
💗 Anxiety
💗 Self-harm
💗 Eating disorders
💗 Emotional overwhelm
💗 Friendships & boundaries
💗 Puberty or body changes
💗 Low self-worth
…then The Girls’ Club Collective is here for her.
We offer a gentle, structured 6-week programme that teaches girls the emotional tools they should have learned in school — but didn’t.

Together, we can raise emotionally strong, confident, self-aware young women.
